Death:

Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the founder of Pakistan, passed away on September 11, 1948, at the age of 71. His death occurred just over a year after the creation of Pakistan, leaving the nation in mourning for its beloved leader.

Circumstances of Death  ,

Jinnah had been suffering from tuberculosis for many years, a condition he had kept secret from most people to avoid causing panic during the independence movement. In his later years, his health deteriorated further due to the immense physical and mental strain of leading Pakistan's struggle for independence. He was also diagnosed with lung cancer, which compounded his frail condition.

On the evening of September 11, 1948, Jinnah was being transported from Ziarat (where he had been staying for his health) to Karachi by plane. Upon landing, he was moved to an ambulance to take him to the Governor-General’s House. Unfortunately, the ambulance broke down during the journey, causing a significant delay in getting him medical assistance. Despite efforts to save him, Jinnah succumbed to his illness later that night.

Legacy

Jinnah's death was a tremendous loss for Pakistan. His vision, determination, and leadership had been instrumental in the country's creation. He is remembered as the "Father of the Nation" and is buried in Mazar-e-Quaid, an iconic mausoleum in Karachi.
